Teacher Assistance Fund
RFA’s annual Teacher Assistant Fund program assists high school arts educators in their efforts to empower young artists by providing art supplies to classrooms in need. Educators are eligible for art supply awards up to $1000 per school. The program is intended to support teachers who want to realize exciting art projects in their classrooms as well as those in need of basic materials.
Please note, RFA accepts only one application per school. We encourage teachers to collaborate on their proposals if various art teachers are interested in participating. Art teachers in Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, and St. Charles Parishes are eligible to apply. If your school is chosen, RFA will purchase requested supplies on your behalf and deliver them to your classroom. There is no fee to apply.
