Mother Nature

Acrylic on wood

This work is my interpretation of the topic. Mother earth, with different elements and environments around her. My passion and what I want to do with my career is focused in environmental law and studies. The environment and nature inspires me, but my favorite thing to do is portraits. I used acrylic paint on a wooden panel. I did this because I felt that the wood ties into the nature driven topic. This is only the third acrylic portrait I’ve ever done, and I’ve only been doing them for about a year. I struggled with completing this painting as I am taking many intensive courses like AP courses an dual enrollments. I have a very strong passion for learning and art, and hopefully this scholarship could provide a stepping stone on the way to my future in environmental law.
